Day – 02 ARRIVE - JAMMU — KATRA
Morning arrival at Katra. Transfer to Katra & go for Mata Vaishno Devi Dharashan :
Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine is one of the most Religious Pilgrimage destination in India, located at a height of 5300 feet on the holy Trikuta Hills of the Shivalik Hill Range.
The holy cave shrine of Vaishno Devi is nestled in a beautiful recess of the Trikuta Mountains forming a part of the lower Himalayas. In the cave there are images of three deities viz. the Mahakali, Mahalakshmi and Mahasaraswati.

Day - 03 KATRA - DHARAMSHALA

Morning check out from the hotel & drive to Dharamshala : Dharamsala, current home of the Dalai Lame, a very well run period.Dharamsala is set along a spur of the Dhauladhar range, overlooking the Kangra Valley and the Shiwalik mountains.
Afternoon visiting the headquarters of H.H. The Dalai Lama in Mcleodganj and the Norbulingka Institute, centre for Buddhist teaching, housing over a thousand painted images. You can also visit the Namgyal Monastery, the Kalachakra Temple and the Bhagsunath Temple. Paintings by Roerich can be seen in the Museum of Kangra Art.

Day – 04 DHARAMSHALA - CHAMUNDA DEVI - PALAMPUR

After breakfast visit CHAMUNDA DEVI, also known as Chamundi and Charchika, is a fearsome aspect of Devi, the Divine Mother and one of the seven Matrikas (mother goddesses). The name is a combination of Chanda and Munda, two monsters whom Chamunda killed. Here Lord Shiva is present in the form of death, destruction & dead bodies along with Devi Chamunda. In the temple the devotees can see scenes from the Devi Mahatmya, Ramayana and Mahabharata. On either side of the Devi's image is Hanuman and Bhairo.
Also visit the Palampur : Palampur :Palampur is a fascinating spot in the Kangra Valley, surrounded on all sides by tea gardens and pine forests. The place enjoys a healthy climate and the pine scented air is said to have curative properties. Evening return back to Dharamshala.

Day - 05 DHARAMSHALA: BRAJESHWARI DEVI: JAWALA JI

Morning check out from the hotel & drive to Jawala ji temple enroute visit the famous temple of Kangra The Brajeshwari Devi temple, located in the old Kangra Township, is said to have been built over the charred breasts of Sati. This shrine, once renown for its great wealth, has been plundered relentlessly over the ages. The first of the plunderers was Mahmud of Ghazni, who looted it in 1009. A mosque was built on the ruins and a garrison was left behind. 35 years later, the local king regained its possession. The shrine was repaired and a replica of the idol was enshrined. The temple was filled with gold, silver and diamonds only to be ransacked again in 1360 by Firoz Tughlaq. Later Emperor Akbar visited the shrine with his Dewan, Todar Mal and restored it to its former grandeur. The temple was razed to the ground by an earthquake in 1905, but a new one came up the very same year, thanks to the Kangra Restoration Committee. JAWALAMUKHI (55kms). Check in hotel and after lunch visit JAWALAJI temple also called the “Flaming Goddess” or “She of the flaming mouth”. It lies in the valley of Beas and is built over some natural jets of combustible gas believed to be a manifestation of the goddess Devi Bhagwati Jawalamukhi. A legend avers that the flames proceed from the mouth of demon Jalandhara, the Daitya King whom Shiva over-whelmed with mountains. Overnight in hotel at JAWALAMUKHI.

Devotees have been visiting this Shaktipeeth for centuries to pray at the lotus feet of Mata Shri Chhinnamastika Devi.They bring with them their worldly concerns and seek blessings from the Devi.It is believed that if you ask something from the Devi with a true heart, your wish will be granted.Evening drop at Dharamshala bus stand to take bus to Delhi (Overnight Journey)
