How to Reach Nainital?

Nainital is known as Lake District of India. Nainital is well connected with the national highway No 87 and its nearly 310 Km from Delhi. Nainital is the main attraction of kumaon region tourist spots and people throughout visit here.

Nainital By Road

If you are travelling by your own car or by public transport then it will take 6-7 hours. There are two routes to nainital one is through kaldhungi and another via Rampur.

Delhi to Nainital through Rampur: Delhi - Ghaziabad - Hapur - Garmukteshwar - Gajraula - Moradabad - Rampur - Haldwani - Kathgodam - Nainital.

Delhi to Nainital through Kaladungi: Delhi - Ghaziabad - Hapur - Garmukteshwar - Gajraula - Moradabad - Tanda - Bazpur - Kaladungi - Nainital.

Apart from this if you are travelling through your own vehicle then there is a new route to nainital. This route will be nearly 265 Kms.

From Delhi: Delhi to Hapur By-pass to Gajraula to Moradabad By-pass to Tanda Dadyal Road to Bajpur to Kaladungi to Nainital (do not follow the "Kashipur city") - Total 265 Kms.

From Nainital: Nainital to Kaladungi to Bajpur to Tanda Dadyal Road to Moradabad By-pass to Gajraula to Hapur By-pass to Delhi - Total 265 Kms

Naini Lake: One of the main attraction of Nainital is Naini Lake where one can do boating and yatching. Nainital hosts the annual Kingfisher Yachting Competition in the third week of June.
